Reflecting on the history of the great city of Persepolis, our product contains both beauty & elegance. Veneto Persís is a bright velvet effect product with opalescent reflections and a soft touch accompanied by a silk sensation. The final result makes our product ideal for the decoration of large surfaces, not limited to niches or single walls. Due to its features, Persís can be applied in multiple effects, as illustrated in the color chart.
Apply 1 coat of Vento acrylic insulating primer insulation if necessary.
Select the desired color from the Persís color chart. Proceed applying with a brush or roller, one or two coats of Veneto Deco Paint ( water-based primer which has to be thinned up to 5 – 10 % with water.
Allow drying perfectly.
Proceed with the application of Persís presented in 3 different effects:
NUBILA EFFECT:
Apply with a short-haired roller, a coat of the desired PERSIA color, leaving about 2 mm thickness. Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, smooth the coating with circular movements, using NUVOLA, stainless steel, or PVC trowel. Allow drying to appreciate the effect.
SILVA EFFECT:
Apply with a short-haired roller, a coat of the desired Persís color, leaving about 2 mm thickness. Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, create the wood effect, with the wood effect tool. Allow drying to appreciate its effect.
TEXTURE EFFECT:
Apply with a short-haired roller, a coat of the desired Persís color, leaving about 2 mm thickness. Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, roll the surface with RULLO TEXTURE, in order to recreate the typical effect.
Allow dry for a minimum of 6h. Allow to dry completely (18-24 hours or more depending on temperature – in this phase, the cracks will form), and then sand the entire surface to remove imperfections. Important: brush the surface to remove dust. Complete dry at 23°C environment conditions.
Depending on the surface smoothness, its porosity, and the application methods, for a single coat application: 1lt covers 6 – 8 m² of the surface, 1 kg covers 5,0 – 6,5 m² of the surface.
The paint consumption for a 1 m² area is 120-160 ml and 150-200 gr.
The surface to be treated must be dry, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, and scaling paint. Conditions and thickness of the plaster layer affect the drying and hardening time, make sure it has at least 28 days of curing time, depending on temperature. The substrate has to be well prepared and suitable for coating: dry plaster, not any granules from plaster. In the case of old walls make sure there is no poor or dusty paint: remove them if necessary as well as flaking paint.
